Driver DOT records pull from the FMCSA to Truckin Digital.

Please note you cannot add DOT records as this is a live feed from the FMCSA only. However you can take affirmative actions upon each record. You can also add internal incidents, learn more: https://support.truckindigital.com/support/solutions/articles/154000151155-incidents

Viewing DOT Records

There are 3 sections for DOT Records:

  • Inspections
  • Violations
  • Crashes

To view DOT Records for a driver user will navigate to the Drivers Profile and select tab "DOT Records" and the following view will appear:

On this page user will be able to see DOT Records for a driver that are pulled directly from FMCSA records.

Affirmative Actions

You can take affirmative action for records by following the steps below:

1. From the inspections tab, you will notice if there is a violation report, you can click on the report link.

2. Once you clicked on the link it will navigate you to the violation. From here you can take two actions, acknowledge without an incident record or assign / create incident record.

3. If you wish to create/assign an incident record to the violation, you can do so by clicking on the left side "Create or Assign Incident" this will then bring up a pop up for you till out the details of the incident. Keep note, this also allows you to show affirmitive actions taken on the incident for the violation.

Adding internal records for company infractions not related to DOT, you will proceed with creating an incident and providing details including actions taken by the company. Learn more about incidents here: https://support.truckindigital.com/support/solutions/articles/154000151155-incidents
