Dispatching Shipments

Navigating to the Planner Section:

Accessing Undispatched Shipments:

Select "Plan Shipments." This will open a window displaying all shipments awaiting dispatch.

Dispatching Shipments:

Multi Shipment Dispatch:
- Click the checkbox on the left side of the shipment list to select multiple shipments.
- A "Bulk Actions" button will appear. Click it and choose the desired action.

Single Shipment Dispatch:

Navigate to the right side of the screen.
Click the three dots to open a dropdown menu.
Select the "Dispatch" option.
Here user is able to select drivers that meet the requirements of the selected shipment (Dry Van shipments, Cargo Van Shipments etc.)
User is also able to search by Vehicle and Radius Miles of the selected shipment pickup location

To select the desired driver simply click on the field and a green outline will appear highlighting users selected driver:

After selecting the desired driver user can click on "+Select Vehicle" and will be taken to the next step of dispatching process

Driver Pay and Cost Estimates:

Enter the driver pay details. If the driver is paid by the hour or mile, the system will estimate the cost.
Review options for dispatching:
- Dispatch to Driver Immediately: Notifies the driver via the Driver App.
- Pending Dispatch as Next Shipment: Automatically dispatches in sequential order if the driver has other shipments.
- Pending Dispatch Queue: Set a specific date/time for dispatch.
- Dispatch Prior to Scheduled Pickup: Dispatches the driver a set number of hours before pickup.
- Send Tracking Updates: Sends automatic emails to the customer contact with shipment status updates.
- Send Driver SMS Reminder: Alerts the driver a set number of minutes before the scheduled pickup.

Cost Estimate and Net Profit:

Review the cost estimate, including driver pay, fuel costs, and total shipment cost.
Check the net profit section for gross shipment charges, estimated costs, and net profit.

Finalizing the Dispatch:

Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the "Dispatch Vehicle" button.
An overview of the newly dispatched shipment will appear, allowing you to track progress in real-time.
Live event updates will be reflected within a second, such as a driver's arrival at a geo-fenced stop point.
