Samsara - Import Vehicles

 Importing Vehicles from Samsara to Truckin Digital: 

IMPORTANT: Vehicles do not sync automatically into Truckin Digital from Samsara, they require the following steps to be imported into Truckin Digital.

1. Frist on the dashboard click on Fleet + Staff then Equipment. Once you are on the Equipment page chose Import From Samsara. 

2. When you click on Import From Samsara it will open up all the vehicles that you have on Samsara. On the left side you can select vehicles that you want to add by checking the box. Before checking any box, work on the first vehicle before continuing to the next. 

3. If some of the information is not correct or missing you will see red triangle with exclamation mark in the middle. By hovering over it or clicking on it you can see what is actually missing or not correct. By clicking on the three dots next to the triangle you can edit the information. Fields that have "required" bellow them are mandatory information for vehicle to be created.

When all of the necessary information is in, you can save it by clicking on the “✓” on the left side of the bar. “✓” will change its color to green once everything is good.

After that check the boxes of the vehicles that you want to create on the left side and click import vehicles.

NOTE: Please note to save your time, use the copy feature on each row title, this will copy all fields that are relevant to the vehicles.
