Geofencing is a location-based service that uses GPS, or cellular data to trigger a pre-programmed action when a mobile device or connected services device enters or exits a virtual boundary set up around a geographical location. In your system you can create a Geofence on an existing Stop Point. Please note the system automatically creates a geofence if we can detect the property lines. If we cannot detect property lines, we will automatically create a 1/4 of a mile radius around the location.
1. To navigate to Geofencing first go to Stop Point profiles table view. Here we have created a imaginary Stop Point which has no Geofence at the moment called Wendys.
2. When you go into the specific Stop Point profile you will have to scroll down in the General options tab to Geo-Fencing area. When you click on the three dots on the right side of the are you can then add the Geofence to that area.
3. To add the dots you will have to click on the map the points you think that that area should be a Geofence are as you can see in the picture below and click the Save button on the right side of this area. That is how you add a Geo-Fencing to your Stop Point.
