Accounts Receivable - Create Standalone Invoice (Non Shipment)

These invoices are basically the ones that are not related to shipments, but rather some services or item's you've provided to your customers.


1.To create a standalone invoice, go to Accounting Menu, Receivables, and you'll be able to see a blue +Create Invoice button.


2. When clicked, you will be prompted with a popup window to create your standalone invoice. 


3. Select your date billed and due date.


4. Choose the customer you want to bill this invoice to by selecting him from a drop down list.


5. Set your reference ID and payment terms.


6. Choose your contact from the list. The contact will be a person set in the contact book inside the customers profile.


7. Add your charges by selecting your items and services from the list, which you previously predefined inside company settings. You can add multiple charges simply by pressing the +Add Another button. Set the description, quantity, and rate. if you are adding a tax, you should first add your tax in Items and Services section to be applicable in your standalone invoice. 


8. To create recurring invoice, click on the blue checkmark, and set a number of days that will generate an invoice prior to next due date.


9. Set the recurring.


10. Please note, that the Next Renewal Date will automatically be added based on your Due Date, and Recurring. 


11. Set the Duration, it can be Indefinitely or you can choose at a # of times. This will automatically be preset by our system and based on the options you've set for this recurring invoice.


12. There is also a possibility to allow auto debiting, simply by turning on that option and choosing a payment method for auto-debiting. 


13. You can set Notes which is optional, add the attachments, which will be visible when create invoice. 


Success, you've created your standalone invoice, set your recurring, now you can Process it or save it as a Draft for future references.
