Then you need to talk about driver app side how driver can setup on mobile device, then how it integrates with our app, pretty much you need to talk about driver app settings that it needs to be selected in company settings for navigation as copilot, then when drive relaunches the copilot app it will open on driver app then explain it..

Setup

Copilot Truck Navigation is a GPS navigation app specifically designed for truck drivers. It provides routes tailored for large vehicles, taking into account factors such as truck dimensions, weight restrictions, and hazardous materials regulations. The app helps drivers plan efficient routes, avoid low bridges, narrow roads, and other obstacles that may be unsuitable for trucks.

It also includes features like real-time traffic updates, voice-guided navigation, and offline maps to assist drivers during their journeys. Copilot Truck Navigation aims to enhance safety and efficiency for truckers on the road.

1. To use this addon, go to your profile on the top right corner and select addons

2. You'll be prompted with a popup window in which you'll be able to see all the addons. Go to the Navigation tab and select CoPilot from the list, click on the checkbox and select purchase.

3.  From there you'll be able to select payment method and the number of licenses you wish to purchase.

4. For your driver to use CoPilot as a default map for navigation go to Company Settings, Mobile Apps, select Truckin Digital Driver App and choose CoPilot from the drop down list as a default navigation for your driver.

Press save.

Success, you've purchased CoPilot addon and selected it as a default navigation for your driver.

Benefits and How to Use CoPilot Navigation

To begin, CoPilot works with the route you optimized during the shipment creation process which will be passed down to your driver using CoPilot Navigation.

1. In the shipment creation process, when you've selected your pickup and delivery and filled in all the necessary data for your shipment, you'll go on and hit Optimize Route.

2. Once in the optimize route section, whichever settings you select for your route, type of lane you want to take i.e. Practical, Shortest or Fastest, and if you check the options for Open Borders, Highway Only, HazMat, Avoid Tolls, it will be shown in the CoPilot application when you dispatch shipment to your driver via DriverApp.

3. On the driver app, first of all when you are dispatching a shipment from our Planner page the optimized route you've selected for your driver will be a route on the CoPilot application on drivers phone.

Driver must view the shipment, than confirm the shipment and start it.

4. The driver must click the Start Navigation which will take him to the CoPilot application.

5. In the CoPilot navigation the driver will be able to see the identical route we've set for him through out our planner and route optimization. From that point on, everything driver has to do is to start the navigation, and the CoPilot will take over.
