Vehicles
1. Here you can find your company equipment. To add a new vehicle click the top right button Add Equipment.
2. Here you can select what kind of vehicle you want to add and add their VIN #.
3. On the Equipment info tab you are offered to add all of the specific information about that vehicle.
4. Equipment ownership can be selected between Company or Leasing Owned and if it it a Owner Operator that owns it.
5. Equipment documents area always requires a Registration document but also here you can add any specific document that you want for future use.
6. Connected services are third party services that can be connected for a trailer, to connect simply make sure that the service is first connected in the "Connected Services" section of the system, which will appear here to the profile level. This allow you to associate serial numbers or other references to complete the connection.
7. You can add hardware to a cart directly from the profile creation process and continue later in the web store to complete your purchase.
8. When you go into the newly created equipment Truck123 on the marked arrow spots you add/assign a driver to this vehicle as well as you hook a trailer to this vehicle. The DETAILS section will provide you with all of the previous details you have entered during the previous steps in this tutorial. The same applies for DOCUMENTS and CONNECTED SERVICES.
The same rules apply to the creation of Trailers.
