NFC Cards and Time App

Introduction

The Truckin Digital Time App is an Office Time Tracking Solution.

Truckin Digital Time App is to be used with a tablet mounted on the wall for staff users to Clock In, Out and go on break functionality for in-office use.

To accomplish this, you must have the following requirements:

1. NFC Cards (See the hardware section, available for purchase)

2. NFC Card Writer / Reader (See the hardware section, available for purchase)

3. Truckin Digital Time Tablet Kit  (See the hardware section, available for purchase)

Summary

Create Card

STEP 1

Please plug in the NFC Card Reader/Writer via USB cord to your computer before opening the NFC Tools app

STEP 2

You will need the NFC Tools for Desktop to read and write to the card. It is free to download.

STEP 3

Once you have downloaded the NFC Tools app, please open the app.

Navigate to “Write” and then select “Add Record”.

The menu will appear, you will then select “Text”.

Here you will enter the card number you wish to use.

This number must be UNIQUE for every user.

Configure Profile

Navigate to the staff user you wish to assign the NFC card and click on Time Card NFC ID. Next you will enter the ID you have assigned on the Create Card step.

Test

STEP 1

Navigate to the staff user you wish to assign the NFC card and click on Time Card NFC ID. Next you will enter the ID you have assigned on the Create Card step.

STEP 2

Login on the Truckin Digital Time Tablet with your newly created location.

STEP 3

Use the Truckin Digital Time App Tablet Kit by tapping the new card you have created on the left panel of the tablet screen.

If you did everything correctly, you should see that you are now CLOCKED IN.

If this happened, great tap it again and CLOCK OUT.

If this does not happen, please try Create Card step again or call Truckin Digital Support at 866 300 7701.

Deploy ID Cards

For a better experience we recommend you generate the staff profile ID and print on the card. You may now distribute the cards to your staff users.

If the card becomes lost or stolen, you can always repeat the steps from the beginning and assign a new card.
