1. Ideally, entering the DOT number first is beneficial as it extracts data from the DOT number and pre-populates some information.


2. On the Next Step, we have Operations, where you select carriers equipment types and where this particular carrier operates. This will help you when you are looking to offer shipments for particular operating areas. 


3. After completing the Operations step, the subsequent step, named Contact Book, entails adding the Contact(s) linked to this carrier.


6. The Next Step involves setting up Payment Terms. In this section, you can specify the carrier's Payment Terms, opt to activate Pay Factoring, and input the details of the factoring company. There is also the option to enable Quick Pay.


7. The Final Step, known as the Documents step, in adding a carrier involves uploading all the necessary documentation. This may include the Master Agreement, W9, Authority, Reference Sheet, Auto Liability Insurance, Cargo Insurance, General Liability, or any other custom document you wish to associate with the carrier.
